The Jetz Video on Demand Server

Jetz Video on Demand (VoD) is aimed to be the integration of facilities for the safe storage of large video content, cataloguing and cross-referencing, selective retrieval and delivery.

The Jetz Video on Demand Server is an intelligent load-balancer that manages delivery of multi-format, multi-mode video streams. It is implemented as distributed processing. Authentication is handled through Linux PAM (Pluggable Authentication Module) which provides a flexible method of choosing an authentication mode.

The Jetz Transmitter

This is the end service point streamer and is administered by the VoD server. The transmitter does not announce its presence directly to any clients. It is assigned the task of streaming only when a session is established. It supports IPv4 and IPv6.
