SATLIGHT – Satellite DVB Scanner
Satellite Scanner with DVB Card
DVB stands for Digital Video Broadcast and is a standard based upon mpeg-2 video and audio. DVB -S PCI cards can be used to receive and decode digital satellite broadcasts.
We have developed a C library with a Python extension and a GUI in Python. The utility can be used to tune to a particular transponder, scan the transponders supported by the DVB card and display the tuned channels.
