Debian 'etch'
libdvbdr:
An API layer over the Linux DVB kernel drivers to query, command
and tune DVB cards on the system. Python bindings to the C library is more
than sufficient to write a GUI based satellite scanner ( satlight < throws
light on satellite broadcast services > ).
python2.4-dvb:
The 'dvb' python module in this package provides powerfull
python commands to operate dvb cards on a linux system.
e.g: python
>>> import dvb
>>> cards = dvb.dvbcard.find_dvb_cards()
>>> info
= dvb.dvbcard.describe_dvb_cards( cards )
>>> print info[ 0 ]
